The 2025 BMW R 1300 GS has a 1,300 cc air/liquid-cooled, flat-twin, four-stroke boxer engine with double overhead cams. This engine combines a wet slip clutch and hydraulically operated claw-shifted six-speed gearbox. This combo produces 145 horsepower at 7,750 rpm and 110 lb.-ft. Of torque at 6,500 rpm. The fuel tank has been upgraded to a 7.9-gallon capacity, which means more miles with fewer fill-ups.
